Disaster Supply Kit
As Tropical Storm Elsa approaches now is the time to gather any final supplies for your disaster supply kit. Once you have all of the items listed above in you kit, keep it in one or two easy-to-carry containers like plastic bins or a duffle bag. Make sure all the family members know where the kit is kept. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the CDC is recommending to include some additional items in their kits including:
– masks for everyone ages 2 and above, soap, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes
– non-prescription meds such as pain relievers, anti-diarrhea medication, antacids or laxatives
– infant formula, bottles, diapers, wipes and diaper rash cream
– pet food and extra water for your pet
– electronic copies of important family docs like insurance policies, identification and bank account records
– feminine supplies and personal hygiene items
